A deep crimson core hints at the richness of this 2023 Merlot. The nose is vibrant and layered, unfolding with ripe black cherry, dark plum and blackberry, lifted by intriguing notes of dried violet, cardamom and cedar. On the palate, concentrated black fruits are seamlessly interwoven with bittersweet chocolate and a touch of savory Mediterranean spice. Silky tannins and lively acidity bring balance and finesse, while lingering notes of mocha and toasted marshmallow carry through to a long, persistent finish.
